A live DJ night recorded in August 2020, playing a selection of vinyl cuts from Aussie 50s, 60s and 70s rock and pop. We run the gauntlet of surf, proto psych, heavy ball busting rock, the birth of indie, classic Aussie rock, disco and, wait, Christian rock?!?! There are 35 tracks here, in all their vinyl glory, warts, crackles, spits and all. Normal service will resume shortly. I had been promising to do this live mix via Mixcloud for ages. Had a go at it in April under lockdown but done by the Facebook copyright algorithm which had an issue with Ray Burgess. YES, Ray Burgess. So, now we are on Mixcloud. And we feel better for it. This is a ganging collection of tunes, so hits, others under the radar, but all of them defining Aussie music and shaping the indie and alternative we love on this program so much.
